lyrics
Why can’t you just say it to my face?
Found out from a whisper and a trace
Never mind
Talk behind
Why can’t you just say it to my face?
I am so sick of the games we play
I'm sick of always locking it away
I buried rage, frustration, in my written word
Hoping I'd eventually be heard
So if it’s all in my mind then I, pray pray
For all the angels allied, aligned, who see you the same way
Why don't you just tell me where it hurts
Butcher wanna moonlight as a nurse
Opioid
I'm paranoid
Why can't I just tell you where it hurts
I see your denial as my loss
I shake you but I cannot shake you off
Get up and, try again
Won’t put down the trophy til I’ve lost
And you crawl through blood, to hand me the dice
And you stand on bones, to read me my rights

Before every vacation, I face the challenge of finding fresh music that is dynamic but not too hard, and that is so emotional and catchy that it doesn't get on my nerves after just two days of touring. During that search I discovered OBEY ROBOTS and it took me only a few moments to put "One in a thousand" on the playlist. The album rocks, combines strong "Therapy?"-like guitars with Laura's soulful, distinctive vocals to quite a few hits, just check "One of these days" or "Next Summer"! H.L.
