If for some reason, we don’t find a way
I don’t want to stop you, knock you down
Maybe I’m not ready to let go yet no
You’re the why I keep on grinding, keep providing, no need to pay pay back
Maybe I’m not ready to let go yet no
You’re the why I keep on grinding, keep providing, no need to pay pay back
On my knees finding pieces of the shatter
These tiny cuts don’t matter
Work all night just to put us back together
I swear I’ll make us better
If after sunrise you don’t wanna stay
I’m not gonna hold you, tie you down
I will build a dam and hold back these tears if you go
I’ll be here collecting, mending, changing endings, like I can go go back
On my knees finding pieces of the shatter
These tiny cuts don’t matter
Work all night just to put us back together
I swear I’ll make us better
Oh, oh, oh, oh
On my knees finding pieces of the shatter
These tiny cuts don’t matter
Work all night just to put us back together
I swear I’ll make us better

I've listened to the original edition of this so many times and never tire of it. The vocal style, harmonies, and songwriting are mindblowing. Can't pick a favorite song so I'll just go with the one that's in my head most lately. Definitely recommend the CD. Looking forward to listening to their other stuff. Some guy

I'm working back through Bitter Ruin's career and am delighted to find this album and other rarities available here.
I hate to label musicians unless it leads to genuine understanding and these guys defy categories with ease, grace and shared pleasure. Nicholas Taliesin Barrett
