Did I put too much pressure on you to be the one that I can lean on
Maybe I was wrong to
Did I put too much pressure on you to make me feel like I was the only one
Either way I need a way out
Leaving fast like your last wife
Have you ruined me
Maybe I just can’t get off on real life
Worry, if I glide in the wind you’ll shoot down, you’ll shoot down
Watch me fall
Worry, if I bloom in the spring a new one
Offer me a palm to fall upon and I would sacrifice it all
Did I put too much pressure on you
And make you bend away from who you were
Maybe I was wrong to
So you wake alone in the great unknown
Now you’re free to love her, love her
Either way I need a way out
Parting farewells
Like ex girls
Have I ruined you
Or maybe you just can’t get off
On good terms
I've listened to the original edition of this so many times and never tire of it. The vocal style, harmonies, and songwriting are mindblowing. Can't pick a favorite song so I'll just go with the one that's in my head most lately. Definitely recommend the CD. Looking forward to listening to their other stuff. Some guy
