Calm down, you have been thinking longer than you ought to have been
Slow down, you’ve got to save face and your heart is racing again
Should have gone back to the start, to the very first breath
Though the sky threatened the rain hadn’t started just yet
Calm down, you have been drinking much more than you ought to have been
I didn’t marry this, I don’t even know what this is
I didn’t marry this, aah aah
Hold tight, cough out the demons that you have been feeding and laugh
Think straight, stop what you need to, I’m frightened of what you might start
We can exhale and sink deep in relief of the stress
Just wait, straighten your shirt and your stance, and I’ll straighten my dress
I didn’t marry this, I don’t even know what this is
I didn’t marry this, aah aah
Vowed for another you, I pine for another you
I think I can work it out for another you
I’d die for another you
I didn’t marry this, I don’t even know what this is
I didn’t marry this, aah, aah
I've listened to the original edition of this so many times and never tire of it. The vocal style, harmonies, and songwriting are mindblowing. Can't pick a favorite song so I'll just go with the one that's in my head most lately. Definitely recommend the CD. Looking forward to listening to their other stuff. Some guy
